On Friday afternoon, Sept. 27th at 2:30 o’clock Miss Doris Looser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Looser, Thorp, and Dick Hardrath, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hardrath, Owen, R. 1 were united in marriage by the Rev. W. P. D. Powe in the parsonage of the Congregational Church, at Owen.

The bride repeated the vows in a jacket dress of navy blue romaine crepe trimmed with white eyelet organdy. A navy blue felt turban with a long veil and dark blue accessories completed the bridal outfit. She wore a shoulder corsage of Annie Laurie gladioli and pink rosy veil. Miss Irene Looser, maid of honor, wore a navy blue taffeta dress trimmed with white and navy accessories. Her corsage was identical to that which the bride wore.

A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents at 8 o’clock in the evening. Those present from away were Wm. B. Scheel of Loyal and Miss Avis Kuntz of Juneau were present.

A wedding dance was held at the Atwood dance hall in the evening. The music was furnished by Ed. Thorsen and his band.
