Surnames: Dietsche, Kayhart, Karau, Hoff, Hoffman The Loyal Tribune 13 November 1940 Dietsche, David (1 MAR 1922 – 9 NOV 1940) David Dietsche, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Dietsche passed away November 9, 1940 of a heart attack at the home of his employer, Ernest Clouse, in the Town of Beaver, Clark County at 9:30 A. M. at the age of 18 tears, 8 months and 8 days. David was born March 1, 1922 in the Town of Sherman, Clark County. He received his education from the Veefkind grade school. He attended Salem’s Lutheran Sunday School and Church. He was confirmed June 25, 1939 by Rev. Frank Albrecht. He was baptized on March 1, 1922. Five years ago he spent two months at a Madison hospital where he underwent a slight operation. For nearly the past two years David had worked out. When out of work he stayed at home with his mother. At his present place he had worked little over two months. His father preceded him in death a little over two years ago. Also one sister passed away in infancy. He leaves to mourn his death his mother, Mrs. John Dietsche, five brothers Wallace, town of Loyal, Alpheus, Allen, and John all of Sherman, Paul of Medford, six sisters Lillian Dietsche, Mrs. Wilbur Kayhart (Naomi of town of Sherman), Mrs. Ernest Karau (Marion), Mrs. Carl Hoff (Katherine), town of Spencer, Mrs. Joseph Hoffman (Rose of Milwaukee). Also his grandmother, Mrs. Benj. Dietsche of Abbotsford, and many other relatives and a host of friends. He was well liked by all who knew him. He was taken to the Burial Ass’n, Funeral Home at Marshfield, brought out to his home Tuesday, Nov. 12. Funeral services were held in the Lutheran Church in the Town of Sherman at 2 P. M. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, Rev. Frank Albrecht officiating with interment in West Spencer Cemetery. Pall bearers were Eldon Fisher, Vernon Stevens, Randal Miller, William Price, Donald Fisher, and Merlyn Horn. Flower girls were Wilma Guetschow, Fern and Sylvia Horn, Lela and Nell Peden, schoolmates of the deceased. Interesting Corner Cor. |
