Colby - Sept. 12, 1946

Jack Frane spent several days in Milwaukee.

Mrs. Richard Wiegman spent several days with her sons in Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Roman Stieber spent the week-end at Milwaukee and Chicago.

Miss Jane Lukowicz spent the past week in Milwaukee with her cousin, Miss Rose Marie Gierl.

Ben Riplinger left for Madison on Monday afternoon where he will attend University of Wisconsin.

Martha Weller went to Menomonie Friday where she visited several days with friends and relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Ladron of Reesville were guests at the Ed Zillmann home Sunday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ebert, Miss Inez Ebert and Larry Koffernus spent Sunday at Wisconsin Dells.

Rev. and Mrs. M. B. Ferguson spent several days the fore part of the week at Richland Center on business.

Mrs. R. R. Lehmer and infant son, Stephen Kent, returned from the Wausau Memorial hospital on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kohlach of Grand Rapids, Mich., visited a few days with Nick Kanter and Peter Hassneohrl.

Mr. and Mrs. John Kern of Chicago spent several days with their son, John, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kroeplin.

Wilbur Gierl, Robert Hemmy and Robert Ebert left for Stevens Point where they will attend Teachers’ College this school year.

Doris Ebert and Shirley Kliefoth of Milwaukee spent the week-end with Mrs. Wm. Ebert, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ebert, Jr.

Theresa Brill, Lillian Wurthman and Margary Beawer went to Stevens Point where they will resume their studies at Central Teachers College.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hahn returned to West Allis Sunday after spending a week with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Bruss.

Dr. and Mrs. S. A. Rifeburgh of Purdue University, West LaFayette, Indiana, visited the past few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Crossgrove.

Mr. and Mrs. Anton Wedward and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kubursky, Jr., of Milwaukee spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hassenohrl and family.
