Obit: Shekorski, Emily (1900 - 1919)
Surnames: SHEKORSKI Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 01/23/1919 Shekorski, Emily (22 JAN 1900 - 13 JAN 1919) Miss Emily Shekorski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shekorski of the town of Withee, Clark County, Wis., died at a hospital at Evanston, Ill. on Monday, Jan. 13, 1919. Miss Shekorski had been ill with influenza about six weeks, the trouble termination with pneumonia. She was born at Minneapolis on Jan. 22, 1900 and a year later came to Thorp with her parents. The body arrived here on Wednesday and the funeral took place from St. Hedwig's Church on Friday, Father Tapolski of Weyerhauser, officiating. The young lady had many friends in this vicinity who, with the bereaved parents and four sister and three brothers, sincerely mourn her sudden departure for a world beyond.
