LOYAL HIGH SCHOOL BAND, circa 1939

Ila Olsen of Greenwood found the photograph below of the 1939 Loyal High School band and submitted it for publication. The band members were, according to Mrs. Olsen: (front from left)Patricia Hass, Joyce Trindal, Marliss Berg, Roger Steiner, Cloreen Hammerstrom, Beverly Boe, Nancy Theisen, Morely English, Shirley Miller, (back) director Velma Scribner, Mike Weyhmiller, Violet Nysted, Ed Bertz, Donald Stregge, Verland Thums, Beverly Tucker, Percy Voight, Delores Cowles, Ruth Haslow, Janet Sterr, Mary Ann Esselman, Dorothy Kaufman, Verland Drake, Muriel Prior, Ada Capelle, Francis Rouse, Robert Brown, Elaine Drake, Eugene Colby, Charles Esselman, Leland "Bud" Raab, Fred Cox, Mary Jane Theisen, Janice Trindal, Harriet Weymiller and majorette Brigeta Fleischman.
