Bertha Mueller was an Abbotsford caller Friday.

Edgar Paulson was a caller at Marshfield Tuesday.

Miss Evelyn Sullivan was down from Park Falls Sunday.

Wm Carnosor of Phillips, is visiting his nephew James Lallig.

Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Marquardt left for Norfolk, Neb., Wednesday.

Harry DuChein and Frank Hiepsch were Stetsonville callers Wednesday.

Several from here attended roller skating at Stetsonville Saturday night.

G. M. Kading visited at Hurley a few days last week returning home Saturday.

Chas. Ulrich, Fred Lindau and Eric Mehner were Medford callers Tuesday evening.

Harry DuChein of EauClaire arrived Tuesday and is a guest at the Frank Hiepsch home.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Singstock are the proud parents of a baby girl, born to them Sunday evening, Feb., 13.

A dance will be given at Knaack’s Hall, Jerkwater, on Saturday, February 26. Music by the Milan orchestra.

J. J. LeClaire of Fifield, came down Saturday to look after his business interests here. He returned Wednesday.

Mrs. L. Fuchsgruber entertained the Ladies Aid of the Ev. Lutheran church on Feb. 10th, also celebrating her birthday.

Edgar Sorenson and Galen Kading left Wednesday night for Milwaukee where they will take up the study of telegraphy.

Raymond LeClaire, son of J. J. LeClaire, of Fifield, has accepted a position as clerk in one of the large stores at Two Rivers.

Aug. Ueck wishes to state to the public that anyone desiring honey can get same at the store and bowling alley owned by Mrs. M. E. Zastrow.

Bids will soon be let for the new school house to be erected this spring, the plans for same having been accepted by the Board of Public Construction.

Frank Tepolt was a Medford visitor Monday to determine in his own mind if he was a legal citizen or not and found that his father had taken out all necessary papers.

John Sullivan, who formerly conducted the old hotel site where the Block Hotel now stands, came up from Oshkosh the forepart of the week to visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Loughlin.

Henry Martens, of Marshfield, came up Wednesday for a weeks visit at the home of his brother Fred. Mr. Martens is well known in our community having been in business here at the corner now occupied by the Block Hotel several years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Wells, who have been visiting for some time at the home of Mrs. Wells sister, Mrs. E. J. Sullivan, at Idaho, returned last Saturday.
