Obit: Safemaster, Godfrey (1882 – 1946)
Surnames: Safemaster, Olson, Williamson, Flott, Flink, Koch Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 02/21/1946 Safemaster, Godfrey (12 Sept. 1882 – Feb. 1946) Funeral services were conducted last Thursday afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran church at Unity for Godfrey Safemaster, age 64, who died at the home of his son, Nels, in Pewaukee, the result of complications following an operation two years ago. Rev. J. A. Olson officiated at the services and burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery. Mr. Safemaster was born at Unity on Sept. 12, 1882, and was married Jan. 3, 1905, to Elsie Williamson, who preceded him in death in 1937. Mr. Safemaster had gone to Pewaukee last summer after living in Chicago several years. Surviving are six children, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Flott, South Africa; Nels Safemaster, Pewaukee; Mrs. Loraine (Gladys) Flink and Ronald Safemaster, both of Chicago; Mrs. Milton (Beatrice) Koch, Westboro; and Lester Safemaster, Unity. One child died. There are 11 grandchildren |
