Surnames: Clark, Fahlgren, Sheldon, Severson, Fuller, Steck, Hollensteiner Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 11/28/1946 Clark, Mabel #2 (5 Dec. 1869 - 20 Nov. 1946) Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Clark, age 78, of Unity who died Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 20, after ailing nearly five years, were held Friday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby, Rev. Floyd Fahlgren, pastor of the Methodist church at Neillsville, officiating, and internment was made in the Unity cemetery. Mabel Sheldon was born in Fond du Lac county, and had lived in the Unity vicinity more than half a century. Her husband, Date Clark, who died about seven years ago, had farmed near Unity many years ago. Surviving are a son, J. A. Clark, of Wausau, Wis., Marathon county highway commissioner; two brothers, Chester Sheldon of Wausau, Wis., and Oren Sheldon, of Sask., Canada; three sisters, Mrs. John Fuller, Unity, Mrs. Mae Severson, Greenwood, and Mrs. Lyda Steck, Great Falls, Mont., a step-sister, Mrs. Emily Hollensteiner, Seattle, Wash., five grand-children, and six great-grandchildren.
