---Albrecht Henry (18 March 1866 – 26 Sept. 1943)

Henry Albrecht, aged 77, passed away at the Neillsville hospital, on Sunday, September 26, after an illness of eight weeks. Brief funeral services were held on Tueday, September 28, at the Jaster Fuenral Home, followed by services at the Fremont Zion Lutheran Church, and interment was made at Nasonville. Rev. Edward Melville, pastor of Zion Church, officiated.

Mr. Albrecht was born in Mecklenburg, Germany, on March 18, 1866, and came to this country with his parents in 18?5 (blurred), settling in Clark County, where he has since resided. On May 6, 1890, he was married to Miss Susie Sanger, in the town of Lynn. Together they cleared 50 acres of timber land in the town of Lynn, making it into a fine farm, and resided there until 1937, when they retired and moved to their present home in Neillsville.

The deceased has long been a member of Fremont Zion Lutheran Church, and has served the church faithful.

He is survived by his wife, four daughters and two sons. The daughters are: Mrs. Bertha Bartz, Granton; Mrs. Gustav (Irma) Kaddatz, Neillsville; Mrs. William (Lottie) Hoppe, Chili; and Mrs. August (Lillian) Selk, Wisconsin Rapids. The sons are: the Rev. Ernest Albrecht, U. S. Army Chaplian in North Africa, and Harold Albrecht, Niagara Falls, N. Y. One son, Louis, dided at the age of 17. There are thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. One brother, William Albrecht, Lynn, and aister, Mrs. Mary Juneau, Black Duck, Minn, also survive.

The following relatives were pallbearers: Donald Hughes, William Meier, James West, Raymond Kaddatz, Lawrence Bartz and Wilber Sanger.
