She came to Illinois with her parents in June 1852, where she lived until her marriage to Reynolds Hill Dickinson on August 3, 1865. She came to Wisconsin in 1875.

Her husband died Sept. 17, 1896. She moved to Abbotsford from Riverside in 1911 and has made her home here since. She leaves five children to mourn her loss: Geo. B. Dickinson of Riverside, Mrs. A. Sterbe (Strebe) of Abbotsford; also 24 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mary Kelley of Earlville, Ill.

She has been a member of the Presbyterian church since childhood.

The funeral was held Friday afternoon, Jan. 13, 1928, from the Presbyterian church in Abbotsford, where she attended as long as she was able.

Rev. Falgren of Unity, preached the sermon and the pall-bearers were six of her grandsons. She was laid to rest in the Colby cemetery beside her husband. She had a loving, patient way with her, and will be greatly missed by all her relatives and friends.
