Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sommer and daughter, Barbara, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Sommer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schuette and son, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Hardrath and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wachsmuth and daughter and Marlyn Sommer of Wausau spent Christmas Eve with their father, Theo. Sommer. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koffarnus and family spent Christmas Day at the Gary Schmidt home. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Laabs spent Christmas Day at the Herman Gosse home at Colby. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wankusky spent Christmas Day at the Herb Fredricks home. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Laabs and daughter, Karen, Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Knecht and son and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Poppe and family spent Christmas Day at the Herbert Glenzer home. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Richards and family spent the holidays at the Bernard Lulloff home. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Heil of Milwaukee purchased the former Lloyd Haemer farm and have moved onto the same. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fakes and sons have moved from the Lloyd Haemer farm to the John Miller farm. Melvin Ewert, of the U.S. Navy stationed at Tulsa, Oklahoma, spent the Christmas holidays at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Ewert. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Winkel and family spent Christmas Day at the George Theilig home. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Laabs and daughter, Karen, spent Christmas night at the Herb Lube home. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koffarnus spent Friday at the John Bowen home. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Sommer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schuette and son, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Hardrath and family, Theo. Sommer, Marlyn Sommer and Miss Karen Hanson and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wachsmuth and daughter of Wausau spent Christmas Day at the Donald Sommer home. Miss Karen Laabs spent a few days with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Poppe at Withee. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Schmidt and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Bowen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Karsten and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Staffeil and family; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Heppner and daughter and Mrs. Emma Staffeil spent Sunday at the Wm. Koffarnus home.
