Mehlberg, Clara (28 Jan. 1892 – 3 Apr. 1953)

Mrs. Edward Mehlberg died Friday afternoon at Tigerton, at the age of 61 years. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternonn at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby, Rev. Harvey Schall officiating, and burial was made in the Colby cemetery. Pall bearers were Angus Lamont, Jr., Arnie Strathman, Noel Schelling, Ed Allmann, Mike Stieber and Morton Gentz.

Mrs. Mehlberg, the former Clara Cramer, was born on January 28, 1892, in Split Rock. Her marriage to Edward Mehlberg took place on December 26, 1917 in Leopolis. They came to Colby on March 31, 1922. Mr. Mehlberg operated a cheese factory here until 1940 when Mr. Mehlberg moved to Spencer where he died on June 30, 1940.

Surviving are her son, Raymond of Chicago; her mother, Mrs. Bertha Cramer, age 86, of Tigerton; a sister, Mrs. Anna Sell of Marion; a brother, George, of Milwaukee; a half brother, Edward Minniecheske of Tigerton.
