Jalling’s Red & White Store of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), went under new ownership Wednesday of last week, the new owner being Arthur Meiers, a successful merchant in the town of Holway, Taylor County, for the past number of years.
Mr. Meiers is not entirely a stranger to many Withee and Owen people, for many have visited his store on numerous occasion, and he is well known to many Taylor Co. people. His coming to Withee, and entering business will continue to give Withee a fine stocked store of Red & White merchandise, the same line as he carried in his Holway store for years. He has faith in Withee, and in the merchandise he sells, and we bespeak for him, an excellent business.
He has invited the people of Withee and surrounding territory to come into his store and become acquainted, and at the same time assures all of courteous treatment.
Mr. Jalling who has conducted the business successfully for the past number of years will enter the armed forces as soon as his business matters are settled.
