Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home at 1:15 and at 2:00 o’clock at the First Ev. and Reformed church, Rev. F. P. Puhlmann officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby cemetery. Pall bearers are Peter John Beyerl, Harold Brockhaus, Ed Thede, Roger Staffeil, Fred Dins and John Bowen. Flowers are in charge of Grace Schulz, Geraldine Bowen, Marcia Schmidt, JoAnne Markus, Dorothy Dins and Evelyn Kellner. Mr. Radtke was born in the town of Colby on Jan. 31, 1899, and lived in that town all of his life. He was a graduate of Colby High School and was a member of the First Ev. and Reformed church. He returned Friday from Madison where he had been taking treatments at the Wisconsin General Hospital. He seemed to be in good health and said he was feeling fine. Radtke was not married and his mother, Mrs. Charles Radtke, age 83, is the only survivor. His father preceded him in death. His death has brought the bitter cup of sorrow to the lips of his aged mother, relatives and friends for he was a nobleman in its truest sense – kind, brave and generous. He will be sadly missed by many.
