Miss Helen Mohr is visiting the family of Dr. E. LeSage, at Medford. John July returned home, from his Green Bay trip, last Thursday evening. A ladies high grade bicycle, 28 inch wheels, for sale cheap, enquire at this office. Sheriff Page and district attorney Parkhill passed through the city, Tuesday morning. Colby has two kid base ball nines that will skin anything, on the line, of the same weight. Miss Hattie Johnson has closed her school, in the town of Johnson, for the summer vacation. Miss Jennie Harrington, of Cadott, has been a guest of Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Kroft, since Sunday. Misses Claudia and De Ette Booth went to Stevens Point, Saturday, to take in the Saengerfest. H. A. Bright, of Black River Falls, was in the city, Tuesday, on business, looking hale and hearty. N. P. Peterson is at Milwaukee, this week, representing the local Masonic lodge in the grand lodge. Ernest Miller and Frank Clark joined the excursionist, Sunday, for the Saengerfest, at Stevens Point. G. J. Kaudy transacted business for the Colby M’fg. Co., in St. Paul, last week, returning home Saturday. Mrs. E. Cobb, of the town of Hull, and daughter Grace went to Prentice last Saturday for a few days visit. |
