Mrs. G. N. Quackenboss was a Marshfield visitor, Tuesday.

Frank J. Salter of Prentice was a Colby visitor between trains, Thursday.

Mrs. Herman Neumeister returned from a Chicago visit, Saturday evening.

Wm. Meier purchased a full blood Holstein bull calf from A. Steinwand, this week.

Miss Viola Minshall of Abbotsford visited a couple of days with her Colby friends last week.

H. E. Briggs of Almond, came up Saturday and visited over Sunday with his brother O. R.

Louie Schultz of Wausau visited over Sunday with his brother, G. N. Schultz, and family.

Miss Fermine Engelhardt of West Bend is here visiting her sister Mrs. R. B. Salter, and family.

Will Roth came up from Spencer, Saturday, to run the blacksmith shop during his father’s absence.

Miss Zora VanDusen went to Dorchester Tuesday to remain until Easter time with her grandma Hugoboom.

Mrs. W. J. Beach who visited here with her sister, Mrs. J. P. Harvey, returned to her home in Watertown, Monday.

Senator Foraker did not attend the Ohio Republican convention but the convention appears to have attended to him all the same.

The Viroqua band has been chosen as the Third regiment band. There were applications from several other cities for the honor.

Mrs. Wm. Meier of the town of Hull, went to Marshfield, Tuesday, to spend the balance of the week with her brother, Wm. Eggebrecht and family.

Mrs. A. A. Wicker, who has been visiting with her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Enright at St. Cloud, Minn., for the past seven months, returned home this afternoon.
