Obit: Safemaster, Nels G. (1907 – 1958)
Surnames: Safemaster, Langseth, Mallak, Flatt, Flink, Koch Source: Marathon County Register (Unity, Clark County, Wis.) Friday 10/17/1958 Safemaster, Nels G. (24 Jan. 1907 – 10 Oct. 1958) Nels G. Safemaster, 51, route 2 Medford, died Friday morning at his home of a heart attack. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity. The Rev. Robert Langseth officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery. Mr. Safemaster was born January 24, 1907 in Unity and attended the Unity schools. On June 25, 1938 he married Helen Mallak at Butternut. She survives him. The couple lived in Pewaukee before moving to Medford six months ago. Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Flatt, missionary in East Africa; Mrs. Lorraine (Gladys) Flink, Waterford; Mrs. Milton (Beatrice) Koch, Westboro; and two brothers, Lester of Unity, and Roland of Waterford.
