The Rev. John Pinion officiated at the final rites held at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby, for Edward J. Feit, 64, Unity, who was found dead at his home Saturday morning.

The body reposed at the Lulloff Funeral Home Colby until time of services. Burial was made in Marshfield.

Mrs. Feit had gone to Colby to be with a sister who was seriously ill and when she called home Saturday morning and received no answer, she called Ted Domer, who went to the Feit home and found Mr. Feit dead in bed. Death was caused by a heart attack.

Mr. Feit was born in Milladore June 15, 1894. He received his education at Milladore and attended business college at Wausau. Since 1920 he had served the Soo Line as stationmaster at Unity except for brief assignments at Marshfield and Port Edwards.

He served in the Army in World War I and was with the Army of Occupation in France.

He was married at Colby October 27, 1920, to the former Edith Olson who survives him. Other survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Patrick (Jean) Entzminger, Stevens Point; three grandchildren, and one brother, Wm. Feit of Moose Lake, Minn.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

All business places in Unity were closed Wednesday morning from 9 to 11 A.M. because of the funeral of Edward J. Feit.
