Mrs. Fred Roth returned from Chicago, Monday evening.

Ladies Coat and Suit Sale at Kraus & Kersten’s, Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Mrs. Joe Will went to Milwaukee, Tuesday, to visit and attend the state fair.

Miss Barbara Spann went to Milwaukee, Tuesday, to visit and attend the state fair.

The Willing Workers will meet with Mrs. Jones this week Saturday evening.

Don’t forget the date, Sept. 20, Coat & Suit Sale at Kraus & Kersten’s.

Mrs. Frank Gierl Sr., went to Milwaukee, Wednesday morning, to visit and attend the fair.

The Chicken Car will be in Colby, Monday, Sept. 25th. The highest price for your poultry.

Miss Fermine Engelhard departed Saturday, for Milwaukee, to visit a few weeks with relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Kliefoth and children arrived home from their Wausau visit, Monday night.

We can walk into trouble with our eyes shut, but it is often impossible to back out with both eyes open.

Matt Hilgers came up from Appleton, Saturday, for an over Sunday visit with his parents and friends.

Fred Hess arrived here from Oconomowoc last night, to visit his brother, Chas. and former neighbors.

Chas. Burkhardt is taking in the sights at the state fair, and transacting business in Milwaukee, this week.

Ladies, don’t miss seeing the Extra-ordinary Display of Coats and Suits at Kraus & Kersten’s, Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Chas. Mettelka, furnace man and a member of the 2nd Regiment band, of Marshfield, spent Wednesday here with friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Roth and children spent Sunday at Spencer, with Mrs. Roth’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wendall.
