Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cutts were Colby callers, Saturday afternoon. Fred Ewert and family of Decatur, Mich., are here visiting relatives. Misses Belle and Jennie Salter were Spencer visitors, Tuesday between trains. Miss Charlotte West of Eau Claire, was the guest of Mrs. S. J. Falck, Tuesday. Miss Helen Hebert went to St. Paul, Saturday, to spend a few days with relatives. Miss Ruby Haman visited her uncle, O. H. Groelle and wife, at Abbotsford, Monday. Ed Gordon and wife of Loyal spent Xmas with the latter’s sister, Mrs. Ed Deithman. Mrs. Geo. Burgess and Mrs. Date Clark were Marshfield visitors, Monday afternoon. Miss Inga Nelson entertained a number of friends at six o’clock dinner, Saturday. Miss Clara Brown returned home, Wednesday from her visit with relatives at St. Paul. Miss Florence Butler of Fond du Lac, was the guest of relatives in our village, Saturday. Sadie and Fred Loughead of Iowa, were the guests of their parents here the past two weeks. Leon Dye who has been the guest of relatives and friends at Fond du Lac, returned home Sunday. The dance given by the band boys, last Friday night, was largely attended and all report a fine time. Wm. Binning and wife, and Thomas Binning and son spent Christmas with relatives, at Grand Rapids. Martin Hellestad returned Monday afternoon, from his visit with relatives and friends at Scandinavia. Misses Nellie Crossgrove, Viola Smith, Edna Marty and Sam Crossgrove spent Monday at the Hub City. Sam Crossgrove of Belleville, is the guest of his mother, Mrs. S. A. Crossgrove, in our village at this writing. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Frenzel and daughter of Neillsville were the guests of relatives in our village this week. John Holmes and family autoed over from Antigo, Saturday, and visited at the home of Peter Lydickson over Sunday.
