W. Salter was a Marshfield visitor, Tuesday afternoon. Elmer Berg transacted business at Marshfield, Friday afternoon. Vern Hause of Osborn, spent Sunday with friends in our village. Mrs. Peters of Rudolph, spent Sunday with relatives in our village. Geo. Oldenberg and daughter Vera did shopping at the Hub City, Tuesday. Miss Amanda Glaman is the guest of relatives and friends at Neillsville, this week. Mrs. Ella Willis of Chicago, was the guest of her brother, J. W. Salter, in our city last week. Mrs. Ralph Holeton of the town of Holeton, spent a few days here this week with relatives. M. Evenson and family of Stetsonville, were in our village a few hours last Friday afternoon. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Dan Jones Friday, Aug. 1st, a daughter. Mother and babe both doing nicely. Paul Carlson who has been attending the State University at Madison, arrived home Monday evening. Mrs. Geo. Feuerheim and son Connor, and Mrs. C. Healy of Withee, spent last Friday in our village. Miss Walby Johnson left the latter part of the week for Oshkosh, where she will visit friends a few days. Chas. Pettet of Pestigo, was the guest of his brother, J. A., in our village the forepart of the week. Miss Merie Kerringham of Athens, is the guest of her friend, Miss Ruby Hamann, in our village this week. J. W. Salter left Saturday morning on No. 6, for Madison, where he visited relatives and friends until Tuesday. The M. E. Ladies’ Aid will meet with Mrs. Otto Perschke next week Thursday, Aug. 14th.
