Unity - May 14, 1914

Jesse Clark arrived home Monday, from Wausau.

Mrs. J. H. Clark was a Spencer caller Wednesday.

S. Mais of Colby, was a business visitor here, Friday.

J. A. Pettet transacted business at the Hub City, Tuesday.

Mrs. Joe Greenwood was a Marshfield visitor, Wednesday.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Holmes, Saturday, May 2d, a daughter.

Otto Perschke and family were visitors in Colby, Tuesday afternoon.

Miss Amy Klein did shopping at Marshfield, Tuesday between trains.

Mrs. E. L. Messer visited her son at the hospital in Marshfield, Tuesday.

Mrs. Otto Rhode and son Victor were Colby visitors, Friday afternoon.

Ed Bowen of Marshfield, spent a few days here with relatives, this week.

Misses Viola Coey and Ruby Sinz visited relatives at Stetsonville, Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Falck drove to Colby, last Thursday evening and visited friends.

Frank Salter of Prentice visited his brother J. W. and family the fore part of the week.

The Union Ladies’ Aid will meet at the home of Mrs. Gillett next Thursday afternoon, May 21st.

Mrs. J. C. Hoffman of Medford, spent a couple of days here with her daughter, Mrs. Ole Oleson.

Miss Jessie Swan was the guest of friends at Withee, from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon.

J. H. Vogt attended the meeting of the Marathon county fair directors at Wausau, Monday and Tuesday.

Mrs. Wm. Miller and son Louie left Tuesday morning for Manitowoc to attend the funeral of a relative.

Mrs. O. Hansen of Stevens Point, was the guest of her sister, Mrs. Chris Nelson, the latter part of last week.

Mrs. Chas. Allain who has been visiting relatives at Milan, the past week, returned home Monday noon.
