J. A. Pettet is very sick at this writing. Mrs. C. Ayer visited old friends at Rhinelander over Sunday. Miss Schultz of Cascade is the guest of her friend Miss Grace Piper. E. L. Messer visited his mother at Spencer, Friday, between trains. Raymond Cook and Geo. Korntved were Marshfield visitors, Tuesday. The dance at the opera house last Friday evening was largely attended. W. N. Creed and son Nyole were Marshfield visitors Saturday afternoon. Chas. Creed transacted business at the Hub City, Tuesday between trains. Mrs. John Powers who has been on the sick list is very much improved at this writing. Frank Mertz of Appleton was the guest at the Cook residence in our village over Sunday. Mrs. Winter (nee Vern Eggleston) of Grand Rapids is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. P. Brown. Misses Clara Liepert, Grace Piper and Miss Schultz drove to Colby, Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Pfau left Wednesday morning for Milwaukee, where he went to transact some business. Mrs. Chris Nelson and daughter Ruby visited relatives and friends at Stetsonsville over Sunday. Mrs. Felix LaPoint of Marshfield spent a few days this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Martin. Mrs. A. Keringham after spending two weeks here with friends left Monday afternoon for her home at Athens. Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Dye of Fond du Lac, came Friday and will visit their son Leon and family a few weeks.
