Surnames: Meyer, Winn ----Source: Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 05/31/1945 Granton – by Mrs. Rosetta Meyer The Girl Scouts solicited for the Granton Women’s Civic club, who sponsored the poppy sale. They sold 500 poppies, netting $55.60. The Girl Scouts purchased new uniforms this year. Floyd Winn is spending a few days at his home. On Friday Mr. and Mrs. Winn will attend the graduating exercises at Eau Claire for their daughter Doris. For the second time this year the Rotary club of Granton honored the students of Granton high school. On May 22 four students and the faculty were invited to an honor banquet given at Beaver’s restaurant.
