Globe – by Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow

Miss Edna Schlinkert of Chicago and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schlinkert, were guests at the Roland Schwellenbach and Carl Novatny homes Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. August Beyer and Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow spent last Wednesday evening with Mrs. Helene Scheel to wish her a happy birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Scheel and son, Granton, also called on his mother the first part of the evening. Mrs. William Hoffmann and children and Mrs. Roland Kalsow and daughters visited their mother, Mrs. Helene Scheel, in the afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoffmann entertained relatives and friends last Wednesday evening in honor of their wedding anniversary.

Rev. A. Schumann and family and Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Pischer visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schlinkert and daughter Edna visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schlinkert in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Prock and family were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Schwellenbach. They also entertained her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Novatny.

Mr. and Mrs. William Hoffmann and children spent Sunday evening at the Frank Thoma home.

Mrs. August Beyer visited Sunday afternoon with Mrs. C. W. Kalsow. Mr. and Mrs. Beyer were supper guests with Mr. and Mrs. Kalsow.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kunkel and daughter, Martin Kalsow and son Donald and Gorden Thoma called on Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kalsow Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kalsow went to Marshfield Friday and called on Mrs. Theodore Kalsow at the St. Joseph’s hospital. She is feeling some better.
