Obit: Kraft, Kenneth (1924 – 1945)
Surnames: Kraft, Longenecker, Reed ----Source: Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 03/29/1945 ----Kraft, Kenneth (25 Mar. 1924 – 22 Feb. 1945) Mrs. Thomas Reed, formerly Gladys Kraft, of Seymour, has written to Rev. and Mrs. Longenecker that her brother, Kenneth Kraft, a marine paratrooper, was killed in action on Iwo Jima on February 22. Memorial services were held at Seymour for Kenneth on Sunday, March 25, his twenty-first birthday. Gladys also states that her brother, Vilas, who has been serving for some time in the navy, is now attending advance training school at Notre Dame, and that her husband is now on Luzon. Mrs. Kraft and her daughter reside at Seymour. They are former residents of Neillsville. Mr. Kraft died about a year ago at Seymour.
