News: Willard (12 July 1945)
Surnames: Claire, Confer, Hintz, Kippenhan, Trost, Leonard, Lunka, Farrell, Plautz ----Source: Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 07/12/1945 Willard – by Arnold B. Claire Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Confer, Kent, Ill., spent the week-end at the George Hintz home. Sgt. Boyd Hintz, who recently returned from Africa, is spending his furlough with relatives here and in Illinois. Herbert Kippenhan, R.T. 2/c, U.S. navy, arrived in Willard Tuesday, July 3. He will spend his leave here with his wife and other relatives. Albert Trost and his mother left Sunday for Chicago. Mrs. Melvin Leonard returned to Chicago Sunday, after spending a week at the Frank Lunka home. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell have returned to their home in Milwaukee, after spending a week with her sister, Mrs. John Plautz.
