Donald Schutte went to Fairchild last Wednesday to visit his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Durst, for a week.

Nathan Markham has sold his place to a party from Chicago.

Misses Bertha and Elizabeth Wnuczynski entertained relatives from Chicago the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred McCarty and Mary Ann left Thursday evening by train from Merrillan for their new home in Texas.

Mrs. Paul O’Hara and little daughters of Greenwood visited the past week with her sister, Mrs. Alvin Wendt and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Linton Jahr and family visited her parents at Loyal Sunday, and Linton, Jr., is spending the week with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jahr, at Granton.

Mrs. Fred Sears called on Mrs. Frei at the Richard Albrecht home Sunday afternoon.

Misses Beverly and Shirley Seifert of Chicago, who visited at the Elmer Bush home for two weeks, are now at Alma Center visiting their great grandparents.

It should have been Mrs. Hoepner who is to teach in Meadowview school.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Palmer spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Norman White.

Mrs. Henry Subke of Washington came Sunday to visit at the Fred Subke home. She came down with her brother, Hans Neilson and family, where she visited last week.

Several attended the party at the Moose hall Sunday night for the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Pierce.

Mrs. John Behrend and niece and two grandchildren of Madison visited her sister, Mrs. Frank Schmidt, a few days the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kren came from Milwaukee last Tuesday to visit old friends, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kren. They returned Wednesday.

John Sebesta went to Chicago last week to work in the city.
