----Radtke, Amelia (28 Dec. 1863 – 2 July 1945)

Mrs. Othillia Radtke, 81, died at the Neillsville hospital Monday night at 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, July 5, at 1:30 at the Jaster funeral home and at 2 o’clock at St. John’s Lutheran church. Burial will be made in the Neillsville cemetery.

Mrs. Amelia Radtke, 81, died at the Neillsville hospital at 9:45 p.m. on Monday, July 2, after an illness of several months. Mrs. Radtke had been in failing health for several years. Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 5, at the Jaster funeral home and at the St. John’s Lutheran church, the pastor, Rev. William A. Baumann officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville cemetery.

Amelia Schultz was born in Germany December 28, 1863. At the age of 26 she came to America and lived for four years in Milwaukee before coming to Clark county. They lived for several years on a farm in the town of York, later moving to Neillsville. She had been a resident of Clark county for 52 years.

Mrs. Radtke was a faithful member of the St. John’s Lutheran church. On March 2, 1885, in Germany she was married to William Radtke. Three children were born to them. They are Lena, Mrs. Ed Northup, Neillsville; Augusta, Mrs. Charles Radtke, Lannon, Wis.; Carl Radtke of Neillsville.

Surviving are William Radtke, her husband, their three children, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Henry Bartell, Henry Naedler, Frank Hemp, Otto Kalsow and Nick Schaefer and Edward Gault.

One great-grandson, Donald Kunze, is in the army in Europe. Mrs. Charles Radtke, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Rinnecke, Lannon; Miss Janet Kunze of Madison were here for the funeral.
