O. R. Briggs is transacting business in Marshfield, today. The Methodist Sunday School will meet on Sunday 10 a.m. Get your overcoat of Fleischauer, the Tailor. $15 and up. Take in the basket ball game at the opera house, Friday evening. Oil Meal at $1.85 per hundred lbs., at the J. E. Lyons warehouse. Mrs. T. B. Tuttle of Abbotsford, was a Colby visitor, Wednesday. There will be morning worship in the Methodist Episcopal Church on Sunday at 11:00. No evening service. McK. Andrews and Attorney F. A. Jackson are at Wausau on probate business. Tom Wicker arrived home Monday, from Minnesota, where he spent the summer and fall. E. V. Kautsky and family spent the first day of the New Year with their Marshfield relatives. Mrs. Gust Thews and daughter visited with Neillsville relatives from Friday until Monday. Chas. Tesmer came over from Wausau, Saturday, for a visit with his parents and friends. Peter Smith returned to his work at Fifield, Saturday, after having spent New Year’s at home. Miss Martha Panke who came down from Park Falls, to spend the holidays with her parents, returned Sunday. Art and Mrs. Baker came up from Spencer, Friday evening, to attend the New Year ball, at the opera house. Wm. Lindberg arrived here from Appleton, Monday, after spending the holidays with his parents, relatives and friends. Emery L. Mangold, state organizer for the C.O.F. of Appleton, was in the city helping the local Court get new members.
