Mrs. Albert Marquardt of Curtiss, spent Monday with her sister, Mrs. A. Stock.

Mrs. Joe Weix and daughter Verena were Marshfield visitors, Monday.

Mrs. Kate Thistle went to Waupaca Tuesday morning for a few days visit with relatives.

Mrs. Caroline Hutton and daughter, Mrs. Henry Kliefoth, were Marshfield visitors last Saturday.

Frank Firnstahl went to Curtiss on business Monday evening, returning on No. 6 the next morning.

Frank Heindel of Dorchester visited with his friend, Rob Smudde, in the town of Colby, one day last week.

Lawyers R. J. McBride of Neillsville and Geo. B. Parkhill of Abbotsford, were in our city on legal matters Friday.

Harry Greene went to Romeo, Tuesday. We were going to say to see Juliet, but the fact is that he went to bid on some bridge jobs.

Mrs. H. H. Christofferson left for Waupaca, Tuesday morning, to spend the balance of the week with her mother and her husband’s folks.

Miss Jennie Kaser, who has been staying with her brother-in-law, Aug. Voelker, and family in the town of Colby, returned to her home at Kiel last Friday.

Miss Dora Balcome, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs. S. J. Davis, left for Milo, Mich., to visit relatives. She may decide to remain there permanently.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Cole went to New Lisbon Monday morning, to attend the funeral of their niece’s husband, Harry J. Cade, who died last Friday of heart disease.

E. W. Miller, wife and little daughter, who were on their way to Clear Lake by automobile to visit his parents, spent Thursday with Chas. Reis and family in the town of Hull.
