Local Happenings

O. R. Briggs was a business visitor at Marshfield, Monday.

Paul Draeger and family spent Sunday with his folks at Medford.

Mrs. H. J. Blanchard and daughter Miss Pearl were Marshfield visitors, Saturday.

Frank Chase was called to Appleton on account of the serious illness of his mother.

Miss Gladys Wilde, who is teaching near Medford, was home for an over Sunday visit.

Bernard Roth, of Thorp, spent Saturday and Sunday with his brother Jay and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Nagel visited with their daughter, Mrs. Ed. Bertram, at Curtiss, Sunday.

Mrs. Aug. Schumann was called to Stratford, Monday, on account of the serious illness of a relative.

A ten pound daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sill in this city, Friday evening, Nov. 2, 1917.

Miss Helen Schaller left for Appleton last Saturday, where she will attend the Bushey Business College.

They sure do keep the stock moving. Fred Grambort went down to Chicago again last Sunday with two carloads.

Harvey Barts left for Sheboygan, Monday, where he will visit with his uncles and cousins a couple of weeks.

Ernie Sullivan came up from Fond du Lac Saturday for a couple of days visit with relatives and old schoolmates.

Miss Cleo Daughhetee, who is taking a course in the school of telegraphy at Eau Claire, was home over Sunday.

Mrs. Rob Fancher of Nekoosa, who has been here several weeks visiting her husband’s parents, left for home Tuesday.

Mrs. Geo. Cooley and daughter Mabel, of Athens, spent a couple of days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cooley.

Mrs. Irvin Eggebrecht went to Christie, Saturday, to spend a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Pribnow.
