Local Happenings

Chas. Weller made a business trip to Marshfield, Friday.

G. Moldenhauer is spending a week with relatives in Manitowoc county.

Six reels of moving pictures at Rein’s hall at Cherokee next Sunday night.

Nick Leick departed for Greenleaf, Sunday, to spend several days with relatives.

Mrs. Chas. Schmidt, of Milan, spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Ed. Zillmann.

Harry Greene left for Ashland, Monday to spend a few days with relatives.

Mrs. R. L. Cleaves, of Holcombe, spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. O. R. Briggs.

Don’t forget the big bargains at the millinery parlors at B. Georgas.

Miss Ella Stock came over from Chippewa Falls and spent Sunday with her parents.

Wm. Kliefoth left for points in Dodge county last Thursday for a visit with relatives.

John Schommer went to Appleton, Sunday, to spend a week with relatives and old friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Brehm, of Rib Lake, spent Sunday with her brother, C. Niggeman, and family.

Mrs. M. J. Kraus of Marshfield, spent Sunday with the C. J. Kraus and G. C. Kersten families.

Miss Mildred Hildebrandt left for Chicago Monday morning, where she will spend with an aunt.

Mrs. Wm. Bondow left for Neenah to attend the wedding of a niece and visit with relatives a couple of weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. R. Kolb, of Manitowoc, left Friday after having spent several days with their relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ebert.

The regular meeting of the Colby Local A.S. of E. which was to be held at the Colby town hall Dec. 4th, has been postponed until Dec. 18th.

Miss Clara Umhoefer, who had been enjoying a week’s vacation at home, returned to Wausau, Friday, where she is clerking in the big Heinnemann store.
