Funeral services for Oscar Paul Ebert, 43, were conducted Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. from the home and 2 p.m. at the Mapleworks Lutheran Church. The Rev. William Lauterbach officiated. Burial took place in the Neillsville Cemetery. He died Wednesday morning, February 20, (1946) at his home in Granton.

Oscar Ebert was born to Rudolph and Anna Ebert at Pittsville March 5, 1902. He attended rural school at Lindsey and parochial school at Nasonville, where he was confirmed. The greater part of his life was spent working on farms around Granton and Neillsville.

On December 29, 1926, he was married to Mildred Galbreath at Neillsville. Three sons were born to them. They are Dale, Russell and LeRoy.

Besides his wife and sons he is survived by two brothers, Arnold and Alfred of Neillsville, and his father, Rudolph of Hampshire, Ill. His mother preceded him in death.

Pallbearers were Harold Ottow, Fred Buchholz, Kenneth Loberg, Lloyd Spry, William Schmidtke and Carl Lichte.

Mex.; Miss Lela Galbreath, Doland, S.D.; Edward Ebert, Thunder Hawk, S. D.; Edward Hohman and son, Erroll Gene, Milwaukee; Mrs. Lina Ebert, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ebert, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Vetter, Henry Vetter, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Kohl and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Viergutz, all of Marshfield.
