Lien to St. Paul last week and where Mrs. Lien left by train for Portland, Oregon, for a few weeks’ visit. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Gosse entertained in honor of their daughter Peggy Marie’s baptism Sunday. Sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Riley Neuman. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Buss entertained relatives and friends on Wednesday evening in honor of Mrs. Buss’s birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Harley Hardrath and family visited at the Vernon Sommer home Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Art Thompson spent Sunday evening with Frank Buss. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carnahan visited with friends at Marshfield Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Woik visited at the Otto Stacke home Friday.
