Funeral services for Mrs. Ezra Sharratt, aged 72 years, were held Tuesday morning at the Cole Funeral Home, and at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Services were conducted by the Rev. Fr. John Pritzl. Burial took place in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Sharratt died at her home in Chicago on October 11, (1946).

The deceased was born Nora Dyer, daughter of Andrew and Mary Dyer, at Fond du Lac. She had been making her home in Chicago the past five years and prior to that time had lived in the Town of Washburn for 38 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church and the Christian Mother’s Society.

She was married on June 5, 1900, to Ezra Sharratt, who survives. The surviving children are three sons; Roland and Gordon, Granton, and Francis of Des Moines, Ia., and two daughters; Mrs. Valerie Sullivan, Chicago, and Mrs. Genevieve Shecklman, Greenwood. All of the children from away were here for their mother’s funeral.
