Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Canfield Kihn, 73, a resident of Clark County for 30 years, were held Friday, October 11, (1946), in Park Falls. Mrs. Kihn died October 9, (1946) while in the Masonic home at Dousman following an illness of two weeks.

The services were conducted by the Eastern Star.

A former Neillsville and Loyal resident, Mrs. Kihn was born July 19, 1873, to John C. and Addie Foster Canfield, in the Town of York. She was united in marriage to Ernest B. Kihn in Neillsville on April 7, 1895.

Three children were born to the union: Mrs. Fred (Berdine) Papke of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Earl (Gwen) Plettner of Milwaukee, and Harold Kihn, also of Milwaukee.

Mr. Kihn was employed in the mercantile business, and the family lived in Neillsville, Loyal, Auburndale and Park Falls. They were well known in southern Clark County.

Mr. Kihn died in 1925, and following his death Mrs. Kihn lived for a few years with her children before going to the Masonic home. She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Royal Neighbors of America and of the Eastern Star.

Friends and relatives from away who attended the services included: Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Winn of Granton; Mrs. Anna Grasser of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Papke of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Plettner and daughter, Phyllis, of Milwaukee; Harold Kihn of Milwaukee.
