---Longenecker, Ardis (Marriage - 12 September 1946)

The marriage of Miss Ardis Longenecker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Longenecker of Chilton, and Robert Knaus, son of Dr. and Mrs. N. J. Knaus, also of Chilton, took place September 12 at the home of the bride’s parents before a large assemblage of relatives and friends. Following the ceremony, a reception was held for 100 guests. Rev. and Mrs. G. W. Longenecker were there for their granddaughter’s marriage. Mrs. Gladys Edwards of Wauwatosa and Mr. and Mrs. William Longenecker and family of Madison also attended.

The bride is a senior student at Wisconsin University. The groom was during the war connected with the army intelligence service in Germany, and is now completing his medical studies at the University. They are residing at Madison.
