---Holt Reunion (21st – 28 June 2008)

Neillsville News: By Amber Pischer – The 2008 reunion of the descendants of Albert and Fern Holt was held the 28th of June at the home of Juli (Zager) Popp, in Rice, MN. Leeann Krall, West Salem, took her parents, Jerry and Mary Ellen Johnson, up to St. Cloud, MN, to visit Shirley and Bob Zager for the weekend. It was the 21st annual reunion. There were 40 family members and two guests present.

Those at the gathering were: Nancy and Ed Tresemer, Marcia and Josh Lewis, Jerry and Mary Ellen Johnson, Tim, Lori and Tiffany Tresemer, all of Neillsville; Steve and Cheryl (Henchen) Stumm and children, Samantha and Brad, Bloomer; Leeann Krall, West Salem; Dee and Amy Firnstahl, Colby; Rich and Sue (Henchen) Beck, Owen; Shirley and Bob Zager and Mike and Vicki Zager, all of St. Cloud, MN; Don, Sandi (Zager) Murphy with Emily and Alison; Juli, Katie and Joe Popp and friend, Keith, all of Rice, MN; Rick and Eric Zager, Woodbury, MN; Bill and Kay Kent and granddaughter, Stephanie Kent, all of Winona, MN; Ralph, Lori (Kent) and Charlie Charbonneau, Wheeler; Pam, Lexi, Makayla and Kaitlyn Sill, Holmen. A new addition to the family since last year’s reunion was Charles (Charlie) Charbonneau, who joined the family September 29, 2007.

Prizes were given to Lori Tresemer and Mary Ellen Johnson for first replies. Old photos, dating back to the first reunion in 1988, through ones from 2007, were displayed and enjoyed. In 2009, plans are being made for the reunion to be at Wheeler August 1, at the home of Lori and Ralph Charbonneau.
