----Bahr, Ione (26 Sept. 1930 - 24 July 2008)

Ione (Gosse) Bahr passed away July 24, 2008, in Milwaukee. She had been a resident of Millway Health Care Center for four years.

She was born Sept. 26, 1930, to Henry and Doris (Lindau) Gosse of Curtiss. She attended Sandhill School for eight years and then went to work as a babysitter for the Wiedeman family of Abbotsford.

She met Samuel Bahr of Chelsea and they were married May 12, 1949, in Medford.

They moved to Milwaukee. She worked in the food industry for many years. She loved to dance and go fishing and they had cabins in Horicon and Hatfield spending many weekends there and at the home farm for visits.

She is survived by her children, Guy (Julie) Bahr, Douglas Bahr, both of Milwaukee, and Kraig (Julie) Bahr of Hartford; one daughter-in-law, Lynette; and four granddaughters; her brother, Sam (Gladys) Gosse, Wausau; a sister, Delila Hamel of Medford; and a sister-in-law, Bernice Gosse of Abbotsford; six nieces and nephews, Ronnie and Elayne Gosse, Abbotsford, Kay and Ronnie Cervant, Stanley, Sonia and Peter Gestner, Plover, and Tim and Donna Gosse, Schofield, Clinton Hamel, Mendota, and Darlene Hamel, Pennsylvania. Proceeding her in death was her husband, Sammy in 1998; one son, Marlyn; one grandson, Marlyn Jr. from Milwaukee; one brother, Victor, Abbotsford; and one brother-in-law, Loyd Hamel of Withee.

Burial was held July 29 at Valhalla Memorial Park Chapel, Milwaukee.
