---Reichert, Emma (1880 – 9 November 1948)

Mrs. Emma Reichert, 68, who died in West Allis at the home of her son, Raymond, on November 9, (1948) was buried in the Neillsville City Cemetery, Saturday, November 13, following funeral services at 2:30 p.m. at the Georgas Funeral Home. Rev. Virgil Nulton officiated.

Mrs. Reichert was born Emma Wittke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Wittke, in Colfax, Ill., in 1880. From 1895 until 1929 she was a resident of Clark County. In 1929 she moved to West Allis. She was married to Gust Reichert in Neillsville, and the couple had four children, of whom three survive her: Ernest and Raymond Reichert, and Mrs. Mark (Leona) Callan, all of Milwaukee. One son, Lester, and a sister, Clara, predeceased Mrs. Reichert. Six grandchildren are living. She is also survived by four brothers and a sister, Henry, August and Ferdinand Wittke, all of Neillsville, and Mrs. Fred (Edna) Willms of Milwaukee.

Pallbearers were: Harold Pischer, Sid Patey, N. J. Toptine, John Trogner, Bruce Armitage and George Shaw. Flower ladies were Mrs. Harold Pischer, Mrs. Lawrence Helwig, and Mrs. Georgine Holte. Miss Betty Larson sang, accompanied by Mrs. Virgil Nulton.

Those who came from out-of-town to attend the services included: Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Reichert, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Reichert and sons, Raymond, Jr., and Roger, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Callan and Diana, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Willms, all of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wittke, Cedar Rapids, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wittke, Almond.
