Beaver Township Local News

If old sayings are true about the Bear and his shadow, we are entitled to six more weeks of good winter weather

Miss Lizzie Westphal returned from Neillsville Sunday. She intends to stay with her sister, Mrs. Cassidy until spring.

The dance Saturday evening was not very well attended.

Many of our citizens are suffering from the effects of the grippe.

Sam Cassidy was out to Greenwood Friday.

E. Scovil went to work for Geo. Meek last week

Martin Richelieu and family visited with Herm Stabnaw Sunday.

L. Reimer drove to Greenwood with a load of bolts Saturday.

Mrs. Bullard, of Lloyd farm. Entertained Miss Westphal Sunday.

L. Wilcox was out driving for his health Sunday.

Cassidy’s crew expect to be out of the woods in about three more weeks.

Will Stabnaw has been hauling material for his new house, which he intends to build next summer.

Mrs. Jas. Howe was very sick last Saturday.

Steve LaTart drove down to the city Monday.

The first act on the program this week is, “Snow.”
