Withee Township

A party of young folks from Stanley was in town Sunday.

Ella Heagle and Chas. Burger spent Sunday afternoon at Owens Mill.

A supper was given at the Commercial House Saturday evening in behalf of the Member of the K.O.T.M. from Boyd and Stanley.

A party of young folks from here went to W.H. Smith’s camp for supper last Sunday afternoon.

Miss Ella Heagle, who has been suffering from the effects of a felon, spent last week with her parents at Thorp.

Misses Ryan, Miller, Braidseon and Fitchgherald, and Messers Sturgeon, Randall and several others from here attended the dance at Longwood Saturday night.

Geo. W. Blackburn and a party of land-seekers came Monday evening with the intentions of staying the week.

Mr. E. Fults, of Boyd, tarried in town between train times Sunday.

We understand the saloon run by J. Daniels has been sold to Mr. Conley, of Eau Claire, and is to take possession in the near future. Mr. Daniels intends to move to Curtiss again.

Mr. J. Gibson was in town Sunday afternoon.

W. E. Poppe, of Thorp, was in town a few days ago.

Mrs. D. Goodwin was on the sick list last week.

The supper at the Commercial House Saturday night was a success.

A K.O. T.M. Lodge was organized here Saturday night, which we hope will be a success.

Mrs. B. Maice is visiting her parents at Curtiss.

Nels Nelson has been laid up for the past week with sore eyes.

The little Thomas girls spent Saturday in Colby.

W.H. Smith was in from camp Sunday.

Vic. Hendrickson of Greenwood, was in town over Saturday.

Mr. Lees, of Marshfield, has come here to be night agent for W.C.R.R.
