A. Krepsky is a middle-of-the-week business visitor at Wausau. He went over yesterday. Edwin Tessmer is spending the week with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Burkhardt and other friends in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Zillmer who had been here for a couple of weeks returned to New London on Monday last. Mrs. J. C. Bowers and little daughter, of Stevens Point, are here for a visit with Mrs. Bowers’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hoppen. Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Sturgeon returned Monday afternoon from a visit of four days with relatives and friends at Owen and Withee. Mrs. John Beedle returned to her home in Stevens Point last Sunday evening after having spent several days with friends in this city. Ewald Meves, of Milan, was in charge of a shipment of livestock to Chicago Tuesday morning for the B-Line Shipping Association. Mr. and Mrs. T. Spellman came down from Prentice Monday night and will remain with their daughter, Mrs. Mae Gessert, for the rest of the winter. Miss Celia Weix went to Stevens Point yesterday to spend a couple of days with her sister, Elizabeth, and the other Colby girls who are attending the normal. Miss Elizabeth Guelff, who had been here for about four weeks, visiting and helping her brother-in-law, Bernard Schommer, on the farm, returned to her home in Appleton last Sunday. Miss Marion Blanchard came down from Phillips yesterday afternoon and will remain until over Sunday for a visit at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Blanchard. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Gibson and Mrs. Agnes Strade, who were here to attend the Neuhaus-Strade wedding last week and visit with relatives and friends, returned to their home in Oshkosh, Sunday.
