Longwood

 

A sister of G. B. Andrews has been visiting here this week.

 

B. Krom of Withee, has a runaway Friday, breaking the cart but no one injured.

 

Mr. Smith of Marshfield, has been stopping with Carlon's folks while here on business in the interests of Mr. Conner, who has bought the timber on the Hogan lands. Logging jobs are being let and the timber will be hauled to Carlon's mill in season.

 

Nora Sorenson is the happy owner of a new organ.

 

Nels Sorenson is working on his land east of Longwood.

 

M. Sorenson and wife were Greenwood customers Saturday.

 

Sabbath school, as well as service, was hindered by the rain Sunday.

 

Mrs. Hanson and Nora Sorenson drove to Greenwood Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon were seen on our streets Monday.

 

P. F. Lantz has sold his place to Mr. Bowen.

 

The buttermaker has moved into the upper story of A. Jacobson's saloon.

 

Mrs. Carlon and three of her friends drove to Greenwood Thursday.

 

Rev. Berntzen of Colfax, passed through here Friday on his way to Wausau, where he has bought a farm. The old pastor looks well.
