---Lahn, Carol Jane (Marriage – 14 June 1957)

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Fairchild was the scene June 14 of the wedding of Carol Jane Lahn of Fairchild and Norman Elmer Dux of Neillsville.  Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lahn of Fairchild and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dux of Neillsville.

The Rev. Mr. Jank performed the double ring ceremony before an altar banked with flowers.

For her wedding the bride selected a floor length white net gown with tight-fitting bodice. The front and back of the dress had lace panel inserts.  The collar was highlighted by a covering of sequins, and her net fingertip veil fell from a sequin-covered crown. She carried a colonial bouquet of red roses and red sweetheart roses attached to white streamers.

Mrs. Lamoine Anason of Neillsville attended her as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Esther Sysdel and Barbara Hess, both of Fairchild.

Darrell Knippel of Medford was bestman. Groomsmen were Earl Papenfuss of Iron Ridge, and Wayne Zuleger, Medford.  Ushers were John Lahn of Fairchild and Paul Nemitz, Stanley.

Completing the wedding party were Connie Kitelinger and Jacquelyn Lahn as flower girls, and Dennis Meier of Neillsville, nephew of the groom, as ring bearer.

A reception was held in the church parlors following the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of Fairchild High School and the groom is a graduate of Dr. Martin Luther College at New Ulm, Minn.

On their return from a wedding trip to Sault St. Marie, Mr. and Mrs. Dux will reside at 127 Elm St. Brillion, Where is a Lutheran school teacher.
