News: The Clark Republican and Press 9-21-1882
Source: The Clark Republican and Press Date: 9-21-1882 A post-mortem examination of the remains of David Mason, whose unexpected death was noticed in our issue of last week, revealed the fact that his death was the result of acute parietinetus caused by perforation of the stomach induced by ulceration. The post-mortem was conducted by Dr. Morley, assisted by Drs. Templeton and Crandall. P. A. Sharpe, formerly conductor on the Neillsville Branch of the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha railway, now in the employ of that company in the same capacity on another run, was among the arrivals at this place yesterday morning. Gus. Baruch, of the firm of J. Hammel & Co. returned from a trip to market last Monday. Mrs. Baruch and their infant son, who visited at Appleton during his absence, have been quite sick since their departure from this city, and were unable to return with him. There will be a trial of plows at the farm of John S. Dore, in the town of Grant, on Thursday, Sept, 28th, at one o’clock P.M. Sulky and walking plows of different makes will be tested, and the Oliver Chilled plow folks are specially invited to exhibit. The trial will be under the direction of the Clark Co. Agricultural Society. John S. Dore, President |
