News: The Clark Republican and Press 4-19-1883
Source: The Clark Republican and Press Date: 4-19-1883 A little row in which Tom Becker and Henry Redeske were the combatants, made business for the Police Court last Monday. Becker was assessed $10 and costs, and spent a few hours in the cooler before his friends ut up for him. Redeske was fined $5 and costs, which he contributed without hesitation. J. L. Gates, after having been confined to the house for several days with some unknown disease, developed a full grown case of measles yesterday morning. He was quite sick at last reports, but will doubtless get the best of that disease in the usual time. Philip Ramminger, for the past two years engaged in wagon making in this city, returned to Greenwood where he formerly worked and where a good business awaits him, last Tuesday. Rev. I. A. Eberhart, superintendent of Universalist churches in this state, will hold services at Fireman’s Hall next Sunday, morning and evening. |
