Insert of this booklet, listing the Evening Program 

Pictured below is a Thanksgiving Ball Dance Card from 1878 and held in Unity, Wisconsin. It was sponsored by The International Organization of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F) from the Colby Lodge, #234. This invitation belonged to Annie E. Petrie Olson who attended as a teenager.

H. J. Blanchard, J. A. Benjamin & S. A. Bevier were in charge of the arrangements. The Reception Committe members were: E. M. Weeks, W. S. Rensimer, J. P. White, J. D. Wicker Jr., E. H. Winchester, A. D. Shell and J. Hubbard.

W. H. H. Wicker and G. E. Ingalls served as the Floor Committee. Music was provided by Rilling's Full Band and it cost $2.00 to attend. The card was printed by "The Colby Phonograph".

The insert of this I.O.O.F. Invitation to the Thanksgiving Ball in Colby, Clark Co., Wisconsin listed the evening program for Thursday, Nov. 28, 1878. Along the edge is a handwritten note which reads: I attended this fall. It was my seventeenth birthday., Mrs. M. Olson-- Annie E. Petrie
