Byron Pickern, of Sherwood Forest, was in the city last Tuesday on business.

Will Leason came down from Ashland last Friday night to visit his parents.

Miss Frankie Boardman commenced teaching school at Shortville, on Monday last.

Born in Neillsville, Saturday, October 31st, 1885, to Mr. and Mrs. Ed. McKeand, a boy.

Mrs. A. Robbins who has been with Mrs. Lindsey the past six weeks in St. Paul, returned last Tuesday.

Charley Gates excels them all in artistic papering. The O’Neill House, and Allen’s saloon papered by him, shows that he understands the business.

Will Dopp wears a smile as long as the stem of Allen’s pipe. We didn’t ascertain the cause, but imagine there was some fun in driving company horses.

Sim Reineking is so proud since he moved into his new and elegant house, that his boots fairly squeak. And well he may be for he had got a home to be proud of.

Mr. Will Klopf will move into his new residence next week. He is having everything prepared before he moves, so he will be at home for dinner the first day.

Chas. E. Bussell will present a proposition to the County Board next week to survey and permanently mark all government corners situated in the highways of the County. This is something the county should consider and have done, as it will save much trouble in the future.
